Fume Extractors
Fume Extractors provide fume control by capturing them at the source. These systems utilize a self-supportive flexible arm to allow the operator to adjust the position to optimize fume extraction. Similarly, a flexible Python hose can also be used for hard-to-reach areas. Depending on the application and workspace, a variety of different systems are available to best suit the configuration such as wall mounted, table mounted, and standard floor units.
Best Use: welding, using chemicals, powder filling, light grinding, and solvent and epoxy use
Benefits:
• Portable – includes a handle and wheels for easy mobility
• Reliable and long lasting
• Self-supportive flex arms or Python hose – both flame resistant
Filters Available: HEPA (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficiency on particles down to 0.5 microns), Activated Carbon Filters, or Specialty-Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury)
Air Volume by Model
Model | 300 | 400 | 425 | 450 |
Airflow | Up to 350 CFM | Up to 700 CFM | Up to 733 CFM | Up to 877 CFM |
Industrial Fume Extractors
Industrial Fume Extractors provide voluminous air volume for fume control of heavy-loading applications such as welding, grinding, and some dust collection. These systems feature a 7’ or 10’ heavy-duty capture arm that can easily be maneuvered to capture fumes at the source. Also, the unit can come with a Python hose capture arm to allow fume control in hard-to-reach places. Industrial Fume Extractors can utilize cleanable Micro-Pleat Filters ideal for heavy-loading applications. The included Magnehelic Gauge helps the operator monitor the filter’s static pressure to help know when to clean or replace the filters (MP and HEPA filters only). This heavy-duty fume extractor allows portability with a handle and heavy-duty casters.
Best Use: welding, grinding, dust collection, or other heavy-loading applications
Benefits:
• Portable – includes a handle and wheels for easy mobility
• Magnehelic Gauge – Helps monitor filter saturation
• Heavy-duty Capture Arms – durable and heat resistant
• Large Amount of Air Volume – up to 530 CFM (Model 300 Rugged Air), 785 CFM (Model 500), 869 CFM (Model 525), or 1,060 CFM (Model 550)
Filters Available: Micro-Pleat Cleanable Filters, HEPA (up to efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns), Activated Carbon Filters, or Specialty Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury)
Multiple Operator Fume Extractors
For multiple workstations, our Multiple Operator Fume Extractors provide an economical and space-saving solution. These systems can feature two or four capture arms. Our heavy-duty industrial fume extractors only offer two heavy-duty arms or two python arms, an extra flexible hose that allows fume control in hard-to-reach areas.
Best Use: Welding workstations or close-by work areas
Benefits:
• Portable – with heavy-duty wheels and a handle
• Economical for multiple operators
• Variety of options to fit any size workspace
Filters: Micro-pleat washable filters (Model 500/525/500 only), HEPA (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficiency on particles down to 0.5 microns), Activated Carbon Filters, or Specialty-Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury)
Air Volume for Multiple Arm Configurations

Model 425 | Up to 366 CFM per arm | Up to 183 CFM per arm |
Model 450 | Up to 438 CFM per arm | Up to 219 CFM per arm |
Model 500 | Up to 392 CFM per arm | N/A |
Model 525 | Up to 434 CFM per arm | N/A |
Model 550 | Up to 530 CFM per arm | N/A |
Walk-In Hoods
Walk-In Hoods create an enclosed area ideal for large machinery or applications that may be hard to capture fumes at the source. This custom-designed enclosure is constructed of a steel frame, vinyl curtains, and 2 or 4 filtration units (depending on the application). The Walk-In Hood allows an operator to perform a fume or particulate-producing application such as grinding and the powerful fans direct fumes through the filtration system. Then, the filtered air is released back into the surrounding room. The Walk-In Hood can be an economical way to prevent cross-contamination with other work areas.
Best Use: For large machinery
Benefits:
• Custom-made (requires more lead time)
• Encloses a whole area
• Provides voluminous amount of filtration
• Economical way to have a dirty room
• Durable – constructed of a steel frame
Filters: HEPA (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficiency on particles down to 0.5 microns), Activated Carbon Filters, or Specialty-Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury)
Maximum Dimensions: up to 9’ tall and up to 20’ width and depth
Air Volume by Model and Number of Filtration Systems
Model | 2 Filtration Units | 4 Filtration Units |
Model 300 | Up to 700 CFM | Up to 1,400 CFM |
Model 400 | Up to 1,400 CFM | Up to 2,800 CFM |
Model 425 | Up to 1,466 CFM | Up to 2,932 CFM |
Model 450 | Up to 1,754 CFM | Up to 3,508 CFM |
Downdraft Tables
Downdraft Tables provide employee protection against fumes, dust, smoke, or other particulates by extracting them at the work surface level. These perforated tables draw fumes away from the operator’s breathing zone into a filtration system and release filtered air back into the surrounding room. Downdraft Tables are available with an enclosure above the table (choice of glass or metal, metal pictured left) or as a stand-alone table.
Best Use: Epoxy, chemicals, powder filling, brazing, welding, and other table-based fume-producing applications
Benefits:
• Simple installation
• Sturdy construction
• Reliable & low maintenance
• Low power consumption
• Provides workspace as well as an engineering control
Filters: HEPA (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficiency on particles down to 0.5 microns), Activated Carbon Filters, or Specialty-Blended Filter Media (acid gas, ammonia, aldehyde, and mercury)
Airflow: up to 700 CFM

Mist Collectors
Source Capture Mist Collectors mount onto enclosed machinery to remove harmful oil mist from CNC machines. This system can also be used to remove other mists such as water, coolant, and other oil mist from the airflow. Source Capture Mist Collectors utilize a 3-step filter process including a washable mist pre-filter, an activated carbon pre-filter, and a choice of HEPA or ASHRAE primary filter. Another type of mist collector is the Ambient Mist Collector which removes mists from the ambient air for applications where source mounting is not possible. Applications include open CNC lathes and waterjet cutters. This type of mist collector uses four cleanable mesh pre-filters and an oil mist bag filter to remove mist from the airflow. Both types of systems collect the removed oil for reuse, repurposing, or recycling.
Best Use: CNC machines, open lathes, waterjet cutters, and other processes that produce mist
Benefits:
• Easy installation – no ductwork
• Low power consumption
• Collects oil for reuse, repurposing, or recycling
• Unique mist pre-filter(s)
